What does an OnlyFans marketing VA do?
An OnlyFans marketing VA drives subscriber traffic to creator pages by running the daily social media operation, scheduling and posting content across Reddit, X, TikTok, and Instagram, engaging with comments and DMs, and keeping link funnels healthy. Chatters convert fans; marketing VAs are the reason those fans show up at all.
The day-to-day is high-volume and process-driven: queueing posts against a content calendar, tailoring captions and titles per subreddit or platform, rotating media to avoid repost detection, tracking which posts drive clicks, and flagging banned or shadowbanned accounts for replacement. Good VAs follow platform rules carefully. Sloppy promotion gets creator accounts suspended.
Most agencies assign one VA to a small stable of creators, each with their own posting matrix and voice. Hire for consistency and attention to detail above creativity: the job is executing a proven distribution playbook hundreds of times a week without drift.
What skills should you look for in a marketing VA?
Every one of these is screenable on OFMJobs with built-in tests and AI scoring, before you ever message a candidate.
Reddit marketing
Knowing which subreddits fit each creator, verification requirements, posting cadence rules, and how to avoid bans.
Short-form content distribution
Scheduling TikToks and Reels with platform-safe captions and hooks that drive profile clicks.
Content calendar execution
Working a posting matrix across creators and platforms without missed slots or duplicate content.
Caption & title writing
Writing platform-native, in-persona captions that convert browsers into profile visitors.
Engagement management
Handling comments and social DMs in the creator's voice, funneling interest toward the paid page.
Funnel & link hygiene
Keeping link-in-bio pages, landing links, and tracking parameters current across every profile.
Platform compliance
Staying inside each platform's promotion rules so creator accounts don't get flagged or suspended.
Basic performance tracking
Logging post reach and click-through by platform so the team knows which channels earn their hours.
How much does it cost to hire a marketing VA?
Hourly
Most common$3-$6 / hr
The standard structure for marketing VAs, most commonly hired from the Philippines and Latin America. Experienced Reddit specialists command the top of the range.
Monthly retainer
$400-$900 / mo
A flat retainer for a defined posting volume across an agreed set of creators and platforms. Predictable cost, best once the playbook is stable.
Base + performance bonus
$350-$700 / mo + bonuses
A smaller base with bonuses tied to traffic or new-subscriber targets. Works when you have clean attribution; avoid it if you can't measure clicks per VA.

Frequently asked questions
Most marketing VAs cost $3-$6 per hour, or $400-$900 per month on a retainer covering a defined posting volume. A full-time VA managing three to five creator accounts typically runs $500-$1,000 per month, usually the cheapest meaningful traffic an agency can buy.
Reddit remains the highest-converting organic channel for most creators, so prioritize demonstrated Reddit experience. X allows adult content and suits daily posting; TikTok and Instagram drive top-of-funnel discovery but require platform-safe content. A strong VA covers three to five platforms per creator.
Track posts published per week, link clicks by platform, and new subscribers attributed to each channel. Set a baseline in the first two weeks and review weekly. Volume without click-through means the content or targeting is wrong; clicks without subscribers usually means a landing-page problem, not a VA problem.
Yes. Three to five creators is a normal full-time load, depending on posting volume per creator. Beyond that, quality drops: captions get generic and platform rules get missed. Scale by adding VAs per creator group rather than stretching one person across ten pages.
Candidates can be screened with written English tests, platform-knowledge assessments, and portfolio reviews of accounts they've grown. AI scoring ranks applicants against your job requirements, so you shortlist from VAs who already know subreddit rules and posting mechanics rather than training from zero.
It helps significantly, mainly for Reddit: knowing verification flows, subreddit selection, and ban avoidance takes months to learn cold. A VA with general social media experience can ramp, but expect four to six weeks of close supervision before their posting runs unattended.
